Brera Gta will cost less than 75000euro in Italy.

Alfa in developing the Brera use as comparison measure to Brera and Spider...the following cars Z3,Z4,M3,CLK,SLK,boxster 911 coupe' e cabrio...ofcourse alfa technics had make test even of other cars like 6 series but that aren't direct competitors...
Alfa initially predicted to use a 400hp twinturbo version of the 3.2JTS with as much as 680nm of torque but this was abbandoned cause the car was heigh weights and the gearbox had a very high cost and could be only automatic..so they prefer to use the lightweight(183kgr) maserati/ferrari V8 with 400/440hp and 450/500nm of torque...and also make a really GTA lightweight body so expect massive use of carbon fibre and alluminium in the body...think that the maserati V8 except the fact that is really lightweight(weighs as the old V6 busso) is more compact than a V6 busso...and weighs only 20kgr over 3.2JTS V6 and 21kgr over 3.0L6 valvetronic...so it's the best choice...for a great handling car...
Alfa and fiat auto develops systems as ARC anti roll control, or ecoshift(similar to dsg ) transmission and many more they will offer in collaboration with Brembo CCM brakes as option to the GTA models so they make a very serious job...
Brera will be next years trendy car(and more trendy than boxster was in mid 90's or TT in the end of the 90's)...but except that alfa couldn't make charity....and the price if it's in the 75.000 region would be perfect..think that similar concept M3 CSL with 6 cylinder engine costs 87.000 euros and a 911 Carrera 4 S with some optionals would have a price over 100.000 euro in Italy..so the price is the best possible...and at last alfa is a car constructor not a charity institution...and you know that many people in difference of you think that what costs more is better so we have to have a price in line with the competition offering more...so in the base price of a 911 carrera or an M3 V8...we offer more than what offers an M3 CSL or a 911 Carrera 4S...
At end alfa is a company with a heritage that can be compared only to brands like bugatti or daughter brand Ferrari it;s time to revive it and make people know what really means alfa!
Audi 3.2FSI Quattro costs in Germany 37.100 euro and RS4 cost also in Germany 69.000 euro....as you see there is a 32.000 euro difference in price tag from the 3.2V6 model to the over 400hp V8...RS4 has 420 hp din.
Brera GTA offers over Brera 3.2JTS all what offers RS4...plus a lightened body by the use of exotic materials and alluminium...you must be even sattisfied if they make it with 75.000 euro in Italy...and probably 70.000 euro in Belgium...cause have a price tag 29.000 euro over the 3,2litre V6 for a car that has both lightened body and V8 with more than 400hp is really great..think that M3 CSL for the slightly modificated engine and all the weight reduction body and set up modification cost in Italy 25.000 euro over M3....!In Italy a 3.2JTS Q4 distinctive cost about 41.250 euro and Brera 3.2JTS Q4 5000 more 46.250.If you buy a Brera 3.2JTS Q4 with luxury trim level and 19' wheels you probably have a price tag around 53.000...
RS4 a car based on a less expensive car from brera like A4 with a similar concept to Brera has a price tag of 69.000 in Germany and more than 70.000 euro in Italy...
If you would buy a 911 carrera 4 S with a similar trim level to Brera you would have a price tag of not less than 100.000 euro...ok 911 starts at 80.000 euro in Italy but cannot surely compare to GTA as performance and equipment..if you compare a well equiped 911 carrera 4 S you have at least 25.000 euro of price difference...sorry but alfa cannot make charity.... Brera GTA is a car as concept between M3 CSL and RS4...and the first cost 87.000 euro in Italy...and the 2nd over 70.000 euro...so i would say Brera is almost convenient..will be not as convenient as an M3...but for what offers from use of carbon fiber and alluminium to a ferrari/maserati alfa tuned engine the price is very good...
